Glory Gathering Christian Church is a church that loves to follow the Word by praying, worshiping and equiping the saints to move in signs and wonders in their everyday lives.
God called Katherine Ruonala at an early age and, after many years of trials and testings as she learned to hear the voice of God, she and her husband Tom, held a "Glory Gathering" Conference at the Finnish Hall, Mt Gravatt Qld.
This was the beginning of Newday Ministries and the beginning of Pastor Katherine's ministry. In 2001, as a result of the Conference, Pastor Tom and Katherine began holding monthly Friday night meetings in the Ukranian Hall in Cordelia Street, South Brisbane. These became fortnightly meetings and then Friday night meetings at Springwood Qld. In 2009, having outgrown the facility at Springwood, Glory Gathering has now become Glory Gathering Christian Church with Friday night (7pm) and Sunday afternoon (4pm) services and meeting at 46 Kelvin Grove Road, Kelvin Grove Qld. The Sunday services also have a Sunday school facility for 4-12 year olds.
